The Ben Haneman Memorial Lecture is biennial, a special event hosted jointly by ANZSHM NSW Branch and the State Library of NSW. The lecture is held at SLNSW. The 2026 lecturer is Professor Hans Pols, School of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Sydney. Hans is an eminent historian and Editor of Health and History, the biannual journal of the Australian and New Zealand Society of the History of Medicine Inc.
