Members are encouraged to participate in as many of the Society's activities as possible. Members may be willing to help with specific projects or contribute to committees. If that's you, let us know.

Conferences

SAVE THE DATE: ANZSHM's 20th Biennial Conference 20-23 July 2027 will be held at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Grants are available, via a competitive scheme, to eligible full-time postgraduate students of medical history, and early-career researchers working in medical history who wish to present a paper at the conference. Grant information for 2027 will be released when the Call for Papers is announced.

What’s On in Medical History

ANZSHM, its branches (ANZSHM NSW Branch and MHSV), members, and kindred organisations host:

Conferences

Join us for a celebratory event, ANZSHM's 20th Biennial Conference at the University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Program

The conference program will include key note speakers and concurrent sessions of papers on a wide range of topics. There'll evening activities and special events for student members.

The Annual General Meeting will be held during the conference.

The Call for Papers will be announced later in 2027.

ANZSHM does not have GDR status. Any donations are NOT tax-deductible.

ANZSHM welcomes your support of any dollar amount. Donations go towards Biennial Conference grants for higher degree research students and early career researchers.
