Health and History - Style Guide and Submission Instructions

Past editions are hosted at Project Muse.

Newsletters under various titles have been produced by the Society since the 1980s. The quarterly basis is a reflection of the days when all communications to members were paper-based. Executive meetings were held four times a year (February, May, July, October) and the newsletters reported on decisions made, the Society's financial status, plans, and forthcoming events.

The Medical History Newsletter is a publication of the ANZSHM Inc. to which legal deposit applies. Every edition published by ANZSHM, and its predecessors, is held by National Library of Australia.

Production of the newsletter is managed by a subcommittee of four volunteers. The Editors welcome contributions from members, particularly to regular sections:

  • Animalia

  • All About Ourselves

  • What is Medical History?

  • Mystery Objects

  • items highlighting members’ research.

To discuss your submission, contact the Editorial Team.
